About Us
SalonHero was founded by two young tech entrepreneurs Adam Selby and Daniel Jacobs in June 2010. The founders noticed that salon and spa customers are now more concerned about who give them their treatments than how much it will cost them. Recommendation and reputation are therefore the key to success. That's why they created SalonHero, an online platform which allows beauty industry professionals to connect with their customers online.
We are currently testing the website in Manchester and utilising social medias to spread the good news!
How does it work?
If you are a beauty professional
Login onto our website with your Facebook or Twitter account and create a profile for your salon or spa. Connect this with the accounts or each of your staff members. Share information about treatments you offer, your current promotions and of course your location and contact information. Your clients can search for you and show you their appreciation by making you their 'Hero'. They can also leave feedbacks on the treatments they received which will appear directly on your profile.
SalonHero enables you to recommend products to your clients by putting them in your "Washbag".
If you frequent a hair salon, a beauty salon or a spa
Login onto our website with your Facebook or Twitter account and create your personal profile. Invite your friends and see which salons they go to and what treatments they get. Search for your favourite salons and spas and make them your Hero thanks to our "Hero button". Get recommended products by your therapists or put them directly in your Washbag and share it with your friends.
