Beauty and Hair professionals, this blog is for you!
But I can tell you it’s not.
Here at SalonHero we think that sharing is the key to success. Just like your clients spread the word about the treatment they received in your salon, we like to share ideas and thoughts to help you run your business.
And, as it's essential to know your environment and keep you posted about what's new in the industry, we will keep you updated with the latest trends of the sector and of the company.
So, now that I've outlined what this blog is aimed for, it's time to answer the big question:
Who are we?
SalonHero is a tech start-up based in Manchester. It was founded in 2010 by Adam Selby and Daniel Jacobs with the objective to revolutionise the way salons and spas interact with their customers. The two founders indeed noticed that people are now more concerned about who give them their treatment than how much it costs them. Recommendations and reputation are therefore your best weapons to keep you current clients and attract new ones! And this is SalonHero's reason for living.
SalonHero allows customers to connect with their industry professionals (hairdressers, beauticians, stylists... etc) in a completely new way. Customers can make professionals their Hero which is a universal method of recommending this person to their friends. It also acts as a rating system for the professionals. This rating goes on to benefit the salon or spa that the professional works for and it helps them grow their reputation.
Another way for professionals to maintain the relation with their customers is to use what we call the "Washbag". They can recommended products to your customers who can place them in their washbag and then share it with their friends.
For the moment, we are currently redesigning the website but will let you know as soon as we will relaunch it.
